Spring sport season is right around the corner, and the Tartan softball team is more ready than ever to begin their season of victory. Set to begin in March, these girls have been preparing by participating in some off-season training; Dome Ball games, each Saturday evening

Dome Ball, what the players call their games at the Brooklyn Park Sports Dome, is often revered by most as the highlight of the season. Senior captain Molly Holthe explains, “The best part about Dome Ball is getting some bonding time with my teammates.”

This past weekend, the Titans took on the Diamond Divas. Through teamwork, determination, and a couple home-runs, they won 13-2 in four innings. This victory has put confidence in the hearts of the players, and they cannot wait to bring it into the season.

Lauren Lambert, senior captain, shares, “I’m most excited to see how far we go this year. We have a very talented team.” Last year, the Titans placed 2nd in their conference, and are hoping to keep that momentum going.
