Tartan’s got a whole lotta talent!
December 5, 2019
“This was the MOST talented bunch of contestants we’ve ever had!” claims Ms. Price about the Tartan Talent Show of 2019. This year, our contestants pulled off one heck of a show! Featuring a variety of entertainment such as singing, dancing, and drumming. 3rd place was awarded to senior Sasha Tomasevich; second place was given to tenth graders Tunmi Jubril and Niyah Wadley; and first place was awarded to junior Elle Keller.
Tartans 2019 Talent show was an opportunity for high school students to not only share their talents with their fellow students, parents, administrators, and staff but also the importance of a community supportive of the arts.
After the talent show first-time contestant Niyah Wadley was interviewed and asked why she chose to put on a spectacular show this year saying, “What inspired me? Tunmi inspired me to perform. Um, to be very honest I wouldn’t have done the talent show, if it wasn’t for him.” Tunmi, a well known student due to his positive attitude and determination, played the drums along side Niyah in their performance of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep”.
All the winners and contestants set the bar high for the 2020 Talent Show!
Wow! I wished I got to see the show! How amazing! Niah gave me the craziest chills when I heard her at the pepfest/coronation! and Tunmi took my breath away, I would love to be his friend. How sweet, I hope I can join the show next year!
I agree, Tartan does have a whole lotta talent.
Great job to those who participated! I’m excited to watch the performances next year!
i agree tartan got talents.
I love the talent that Tartan has with these Seniors and I have the chance to know a few of them personally as friends and I like to seem them so passionate and expressive with what they love. I highly encourage them to keep on going on with what they do.
I wish I was at the show but I seen the two performances at the pep fest and they were amazing.
It sounds like everyone there was absolutely thrilled at the amount of talent that came in. The 3 distinct individuals who stood out the most shows that any normal person can really show that they’ve really got something special, I can’t wait to see next years class of talent looks like.
Cool
I loved the show! The winner deserved it!
I’m happy to see so many people sharing their talents!
The talent was very fun to see at the pep fest, good job everyone.
I know I’m rather late to the party, but I’m thankful for all the support and encouragement everyone gave me to go up there. I wouldn’t of done it without lots of you.
